Born in Ohio, 4/8/54... 3 kids, 3 grandkids... began playing guitar at 9... composing and performing in public in 1969 at 14 & 15... played everything from heavy metal to Beatles to acoustic fingerpicking, and eventually fell in love with Irish music and the mandolin, bluegrass, swing, jazz fusion... taught guitar lessons full time- 1979-87... writers block from late '84-'91... played guitar in Kirtana's band, '91-'93, and appeared on her 2nd CD, "Parrish Light"... solo instrumental guitar shows are my current performance format, for the most part, averaging 50+ sets a year since '95... was known as 'Swift' back East, which explains the name on the CD cover, eh? Aye!
