Ron was born in New Jersey, went to college in Tiffin Ohio at Heidelberg College (a small liberal arts college) and got his BA in music education. He was suppose to be a schoolteacher for elementary and secondary education, but decided late in his JR. year in college that he wanted to play…and not teach. Upon graduation, he started his own band and we're glad he did.

All the music you will hear has been created and performed soley by Ron except for "PARADISE", which the lyrics were written and sung by Marilyn Hollis.

As Ron Silverlight's works pile higher we notice a common flavor, of positive and uplifting dedication, that permeates each piece. And the flavor lasts all day, you'll just keep tapping as the songs linger on.
