But, to fully get a glimpse of his broad influential foundation, you must once again go down the list: Ted Hawkins, Bob Marley, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, the Smiths, U2, the Alarm, Jawbreaker, the Jam, the Doobie Brothers, Elvis Costello,Foreigner,Duke Ellington,Al Green, John Mellencamp, Crowded House, James Brown, Hendrix, Led Zepplin, Ben Harper, Tracy Chapman, John Prine, Santana, Gregory Page, Shree Dove, Stevie Harris, and on and on and on.... After numerous E.P./ demos, he recorded the below pictured CD "Everyday Blues" at the raw age of 20. A spontaneous effort rooted in early folk/blues tradition, 90% of the album was recorded "freestyle" with no completed song arrangements. Now after 4 years, Junior has returned to writing songs he hopes are more widely accesable to the masses. Personal lyrics, strong guitar playing, soulful vocals, and hooks that leave you humming a tune well after the last chord has been strummed. We all look forward to the new record, which he is currently recording demos for. |
