Vickimess

My real name is Vicki Messinger..which is where the Vickimess comes from. Not that I am just a mess..even though I am at times. I live in St. Louis, Missouri..was born and raised here. I did live in San Diego for almost 7 years until a few years ago. That is where I like to consider home..and my dream is to move back there one day.

The main program I use is Bryce 4 and Photoshop 5. I have Lightwave 7, Poser 4, Vue, XenoDream, Zbrush, Carrara, 3DS Max,Amapi, Rhino, Amorphium etc..and can't seem to create what I do with good old Bryce. I recently got Photoshop 7 but when I work I always use the old one. Old habits never die I guess.

I am self taught. Actually flunked my art class in the 7th grade. Was not creative..or maybe at the time I really did not care. Boys were more interesting than ceramics. I started out with a few landscapes..then worked up to the typical sphere pictures..then I just went off in my own direction. I have a tendency to do a dark abstract. I cannot explain why..when it turns out too bright with vivid colors it ends up in the trash or in Photoshop. Lately I have kept a few bright ones and added them to my site..but they are heading to the recycle bin soon. It just isn't me.
